Trotta’s Power Washing utilizes the very best cleaners and detergents to ensure the most beautiful looking patio possible. In addition to our regular process, we may recommend re-sanding the joints with Polymeric Sand to guarantee a clean finishi. Re-sanding is the process of sweeping a polymer sand into the gaps between the pavers. Once this is achieved, we then use a leaf blower to blow any excess sand to prepare for the hardening process.

To harden the Polymeric Sand, we then use our very own, patented, low-pressure washer to wet the patio to activate the polymer and harden the joint. This sand will last approximately 5 years and will control/limit the growth of weeds and foliage growing on the patio. Another step that can be done after sanding is sealing.
